Hi! I'm back from oblivion. Hahaha.

Today's 31st December 2010. The very last day of 2010. Everything's gotta have its end. It's been a good year. Yeah, of course there were really sad times but everything's like that right? Honestly, I think, by far, the saddest experience I've had in life happened this year. It was the passing of my grandfather. Haven't told anyone so much about this and only a few knew because they asked me the right questions. Happened in March and the whole thing was almost like a drama. I'm serious. Really shocked us. Especially my grandma. My grandpa & grandma had gone on a vacation trip to Malaysia. Two days after their return to Brunei, grandpa passed away. Another tearful thing is that now, my grandma has to deal with her diseases alone without her husband. I'll just leave the story at that. I've tweeted on my Twitter that I'm gonna do something uncommon today so I guess this is it, telling you what's been constantly bothering me this year.

Hearbreaking story aside, I've read this book by Kathy Reichs called 'Devil Bones'. It was a great book. I actually bought two books by Kathy Reichs, 'Devil Bones' and '206 Bones'. Maybe you knew already that Kathy Reichs's books inspired the TV series 'Bones'. So I thought her books would be like the TV series but hell, I was wrong. No Booth, no Angela, no Hodgins, no Jeffersonian Forensic team except for Dr.Temperance Brennan. Like 'Bones' the TV series, Dr.Brennan is the main character of the book but she's not the daughter of some criminal or a thirty-something forensic anthropologist. Brennan, in the book, is a forty-something divorced forensic anthropologist working at two places : Charlotte and Quebec. Okay, back to me. When I just bought the two books, I actually read '206 Bones' first but somehow the disappointment washing over me at that time when finding out that it's so not the TV 'Bones' totally made me disinterested so I was thinking "Maybe I should try reading Devil Bones first?" because the title was more intriguing, "plus, now I know that this isn't Bones anymore so what have I got to lose?" And I was hooked. I'm suddenly looking forward to '206 Bones' now. Haha. An interesting fact, '206 Bones' was the book released after 'Devil Bones' so I'm actually reading the books in order! How about that?

Hello blog! It's been centuries since I last updated this blog huh? Haha. I've been busy... and lazy. But I'm back today because it's Tiffany's birthday!!!!! It's August 1st 2010 !!! I was planning to put up recent pictures of her on top of this post but blogger was so bimbo when I tried uploading them so no pictures. Boooo blogger.com!!!

Yesterday was YulTi's last day as MuCore MCs and they had a special stage singing 4MEN's 'Baby Baby'. Fany cried at the last line of the song, then the other seven girls of SNSD came giving Yuri and Tiffany each a bouquet of flowers. Awwwww.... that's so sweet. I'm happy all the girls were there. I remember the first day Tiffany and Yuri became MuCore MCs - Natsun introduced them, 'That's not my name' played and YulTi walked on the runway, after that they sang to Natsun's 'Come To Play' and when the song ended YulTi officially introduced themselves as MCs. It's been more than a year since that day.

Hello again people!

Ok, we had CCA yesterday and you guys know that I'm in the Journalism club right? Well, at first i was thinking of quitting the club after the CCA session the week before but I've decided to stay after yesterday. Never knew interviewing people could be fun. I think the reason why I wanted to quit at the beginning was because I was scared that there would be a lot of work to do, you know, I felt like I've already got a mountain of h/wk and here comes another subject (Journalism) to just make everything harder. Yeah, that was how I felt. But the feeling's three-quarter gone now. (Three-quarter is good enough ok?!) LOL. And I think we need a photographer.

It's been a month since school started and guess what? For History, we've done THREE essays! Three doesn't sound like a big number, unless you have experienced giving birth to triplets, but it is a big number when there are so many things to write and when the deadline is coming your way in a fast pace. Haha. I'm not saying that it's bad though. Since the day I chose History as my A'Level subject, I knew I'm gonna go through this anyway.

I haven't logged on to SSF for days now or has it been a week? And Youtube too, but i went on Youtube just half an hour ago. I was watching this fancam of SNSD's The M recording and this fangirl was shouting "Fany!!!" and Fany turned around audibly saying "waaaeee...?".(Video Link) Ugh, I'm such a hopeless sucka when it comes to Tiffany that I just went "Ahhhhh, Fany you're so cute!!!!!!!" with my legs continuosly shaking giddily in an almost abnormal fast speed. That was the only video I've watched so far today, maybe I'll watch more afterwards. Do you know that I fail so much as a SONE that I haven't watched any of their 'Oh!' comeback stages?

In Defense of Girls' Generation

In the world of Kpop, there will always be favorites. These select soloists and groups enjoy success that is almost completely clean from scandal and boycotts. They are defended by the masses no matter what the situation. Handsome or pretty enough to be admired but not blindingly attractive enough to spark jealousy, they are constantly seen as down to earth and humble. For a while, this title belonged to The Wonder Girls but has since been passed to 2NE1. These groups inspired fans from both genders. The boys thought they were cute, the girls wanted to emulate them.

Then, there are groups that--no matter what single, no matter what style of dress, no matter what level of performance--will always shoulder a mound of catty comments, anger, jealousy, and scandal. They're prettier than the girl next door. They're flashier, too. Their skirts are always too short, their pants are always a little too tight, their singing is always bad-mouthed as sub-par, and their songs are always the subject of plagiarism issues.

Girls' Generation came out my first year in Korea. Their single, "Into the New World" was the epitome of what I viewed Korean pop to be at the time--overly cheerful, overly cheesy, and over produced. I couldn't tell one girl from the other. Their sheer numbers freaked me out. I couldn't stand the cutesy mannerisms, no matter how catchy the songs were.

But, over time, I've definitely come to be a defender--maybe even fan--of GG. Maybe it happened just because I was bored and wanted to push buttons on the Soompi forums. The hatred that amassed for this group on the internet happened quickly and never really let up. The girls were scolded (occasionally with good reason) by the netizens (both Korea and internationally) for flippant comments made on radio and TV shows. But as time went on, these "scandals" became less severe in content but remained irrationally harsh in their reception.

I remember reading a particularly scathing thread on Soompi where Tiffany talked about how difficult it was to adapt to the culture, the loss of her mother, etc. Some of the comments were along the lines of, "boohoo, she wants sympathy? Who cares? We all have problems" and "She is KOREAN. Why can't she just understand Korean culture and just respect it?" It was disgusting to read, and it just conjured images of immature, insecure bullies picking on a classmate. It's like...when there is a target, a lot of people will just get caught up in pointing fingers just for the sake of doing it. It's a herd mentality--going with the flow, convincing yourself about a person you don't even know, and...for what? To feel better about yourself?

I guess I liked them because they were the obvious choice to dislike--they were the seemingly perfect but incredibly disdained darlings of the Kpop world. No matter how well-known they are, their strong anti-fan shadow follows them. I was at the Dream Concert of 2008, where I saw thousands and thousands of teenage girls sit down, turn off their little flashy light toys, and boo. And again...for what? I'm sure they were proud of themselves. I am guessing they all laughed about it later, chatting with their friends, "And then, we ALL SAT DOWN and ignored them. It was GREAT. I bet they feel like crap now. Hahahaha maybe they're, like, crying!! I hope so."

But even as I felt sorry for them, I did think they were a slight cut above the rest in terms of many of the Kpop girl groups. Maybe it's just due to their high number of members, but they have pretty consistent performances. I was classically trained in singing for five years, so I'm a picky person in terms of vocals, but Girls' Generation isn't nearly as bad as most people in the Kpop fandoms are quick to point out.

I mean, I love After School but their lives are usually terrible (3 of the members have yet to prove that they can even sing their single lines without quivering, cracking, of going off pitch), Kara induces cringes half of the time, 2NE1 (a fan favorite, I know) has Park Bom as their LEAD SINGER and she is almost consistently flat and strained (I don't care how many people will disagree with me and say that she is this OMG AMAZING SINGER--she's flat. She's FLAT), and the list goes on. So Girls' Generation may not have tons of competition in the pop idol sense (excluding groups like Davichi, As One, etc as they are more known for their vocals and not their idol status) but, uh, they're usually not bad. Not at all.

And finally, I met Jessica and Tiffany for the Soompi interview earlier this winter. I was a little...I won't say skeptical because that's so strong, but I was curious about what they'd be like in person. Meeting them was a huge relief. Tiffany couldn't have been sweeter or friendlier. I've met a lot of girls who are fake friendly in my life, and this girl was genuine. She's one of those girls that you think, "I bet she's a good friend." Jessica was a litle more quiet, but she didn't have an "ice princess" vibe that I had expected. Polite, attentive, and nice, just not as openly enthusiastic as Tiffany.

I don't even know where I was going with this entry. I guess, with their new single, "Oh!", a lot of backlash has already started and will continue to grow. For Girls' Generation, it's just a given. If they do something cute, they are doing "the same thing AGAIN." If they go for a more mature concept, they're "trying too hard."

For a group whose very name portrays the power of women, this group of ladies somehow brings out the worst in their gender. Their female peers will continue to sneer and sharpen their carefully laquered claws. They'll tap out the newest scandal and it will spread like a fire from Korea to the rest of the internet. They'll sit in silence during their performances, pretend to ignore them, and quietly hope that they are horribly embarrassed and upset. And they'll do all this because, I guess, they believe Girls' Generation actually deserves it. They won't pause to remember that--stripped of their heels, hair extensions, and record deals--these girls are just like them.

But c'est la vie, Girls' Generation. You'll get the last laugh. Keep kickin' up those legs, keep smiling.

Could this be Fany's sister, Michelle? The one Fany looks up to the most? She mentions her sister a lot so it's obvious that her sister is her role model. If you've read my previous post, Michelle is currently studying anthropology at Berkeley for her PhD. Cool~

I've seen this picture in a website somewhere before actually. Compared to the picture below, this one makes her look more like she's Fany's sister.Noticed the way she smiles? It's so like Fany!

Here, her eyes resembles Fany's don't cha think? It has the same innocent look in those eyes. A product of similar genes, I guess. Haha.

I'm curious of how Fany's brother, Leo looks like. Tiffany doesn't mention her brother a lot though. It's always her sister. Michelle is probably Tiffany's 'sky'.

SOOMPI, an international KPop website, managed to interview Tiffany and Jessica!

Here it is:

We were able to catch up with Tiffany and Jessica, the lovely Korean American ladies of SNSD, while we were in Korea for a quick trip. After spending some time getting to know them and talking to them about their experiences as Korean pop stars, we were amazed at how down to earth and friendly they both were – and yes, they are as cute and pretty in person as they are in photos and videos! We asked them a few questions from you, the Soompi members, and a few questions of our own. The entire interview was conducted in English. Read on and make sure to check out the video shout-out at the end!

Soompi: One of the questions our members are really curious about is: Do you know Soompi?
Tiffany: I definitely know it and I'm amazed at how much it's grown. My sister's a frequent user. I knew it when I was back home.
Soompi: Right, it's been around for a long time.
Tiffany: But it wasn't like, this major.
Soompi: K-Pop is really making it grow and it's actually your guys' work that is making it grow a lot more. So have you been to the site yourself, then?
Tiffany: Oh, I've been to the site myself, of course!
Soompi: And were you a member back in the day? Or were just a lurker?
Tiffany: [laughs] Ah, I was just a lurker. I was just getting into the site.
Soompi: When all this happened?
Tiffany: Yeah. Yeah.

Soompi: How much Korean music did you know about before you came to Korea?
Jessica: Actually, when I came to Korea I was in 5th grade and I didn't know anything about Korean music. I kind of knew H.O.T. [laugh] but like, I really had no idea about Korean music. Or well, I was really interested in this field. Well, but Tiffany had a different story.
Tiffany: Yeah, I was the opposite. I wasn't really familiar with it but I just got really into K-Pop the year I was cast. And that would be... 2003? 2004?
I immediately fell in love with it because it was just as cool as American pop, you know? Yeah, so I was um, really, really into that.
Jessica: [cutting in] When she first came to Korea –
Tiffany: I was like, obsessed. [everyone laughs]
Jessica: She was called "Little BoA" because she had yellow hair.
Tiffany: I had the long hair and round cheeks and I really admired her look. I mean, that's what made me start. Yeah, she's definitely my icon.

Soompi: Well, since you've been here, you've obviously met a lot of people in the entertainment industry since you go to a lot of performances and events. Who have you met that has blown your expectations out of the water? Like, you had a lot of respect for them before but when you met them, you were amazed.
Tiffany: [pause, thinking] Definitely BoA. And I mean, she still tends to amaze the world.
Jessica: [thinking] Um... for me... Dong Bang Shin Gi.
Tiffany: [cuts in] Yeah, I have to say that, too. They're so professional.
Jessica: Yeah, they're like different people.
Tiffany: That's why we admire both of them. BoA unnie, she's tiny and little and cute and completely lovable. And she goes onstage and she's completely different.
Soompi: She's got a lot of power onstage.
Tiffany: With both of them, that's something that we definitely admire. When it comes to music, their passion is so intense that they're like different people, and that's what we admire.

Soompi: So SM has their training program, and right now, a lot of our members are getting ready for the auditions. I'd say a good number of our members want to join the entertainment industry either as entertainers like you guys or as A&R, producers, directors, or like writers of drama. They all have these dreams and they take these auditions really seriously. So one of the things we want to know about is like, what is the day-to-day life of a trainee like?
Jessica: Actually, for us, um...
Tiffany: For us, we were pretty... pretty normal.
Jessica: Like, the whole is: we go to school and after school, we come have lunch, and then we have vocal lessons, dance lessons, and um, we practice on our own. Time flies.
Tiffany: Since I went to high school in America, I was really, really social. I loved extracurricular activities and so this was basically like extracurricular activities. It was just as fun, but the pressure was – I have to say – higher because you know, when you're in school, they cut you slack. It's part of school, you know? But this wasn't part of school so you have to be like... perfect in both. So it's not extracurricular, it's like two schools. It's like two jobs, right? [laughs]

Soompi: Okay, so since you guys are Korean Americans in the Korean entertainment industry...
Tiffany: [cheerfully] Proud to be!
Soompi: Do you feel like you have given something special to your group in particular or to even Korean music culture? Being from overseas?
Tiffany: [thinking] Um, yeah, yeah. [then with more certainty] There's always something different, once you set us girls together.
Tiffany and Jessica: [laughing, in unison] There's always something different about us!
Tiffany: So they'll be like, "okay, the two Americans, come over here!" [Jessica laughs] Because we'd like, be always talking in English and it's good that we have each other because the culture difference... it's pretty different. It's cool. And it's cool definitely when we look at the bigger picture – when we go outside of Korea and all over Asia. And we're definitely interested in pursuing careers back home, as well. I think it's cool because you can only do the whole teen pop stuff once and because it's sooo highly [searching for a word]... valued here, it's very exciting and it's an honor.

Soompi (via hirachan): What has been the most difficult thing about being a Korean American in Korea?
Jessica and Tiffany: Culture.
Tiffany: [openly] I was the wild child. [laughs] I definitely was.
Jessica: [to Tiffany] For example, for her: maybe... food. At first.
Tiffany: [remembering] Ohhh, yeah...
Jessica: She came to Korea and she was like, "I want pizza, Jessica!" and so we had to go eat pizza. And she wasn't like a Korean girl. But now, she eats dwenjangjigae!
Tiffany: I'm full Korean now! But um, yeah. I was wild. I was used to being really outgoing and making friends every moment, but then – it's the culture different in Korea – it's so calm and... ladylike... but... [honestly] I'm wild. [laugh]
Jessica: [whispers loudly] YEAH.
Soompi: Do the other members support your Korean-Americanness?
Tiffany: YES, they do. I'm glad they've become a part of it because when they go back to America with us, they're like "So this is why you're like that!" [both laugh] They like it, too! The reactions, the food, or just everything. So it's really nice, actually.

Soompi: You guys know you have big fan followings in many countries, so do you have a message for those people? Mostly the non-Koreans or Korean Americans that want to come here and debut one day?
Tiffany: I'd definitely say that dreaming is the main point because I, myself, was back home – like every other member of this site – kind of just dreaming, "What if? What if?" And then I... went wild, came here, followed my dreams, and I'm here now. So I definitely think that it's not a far away dream as long as they have that much passion and the passion... gives you responsibility. I came here at such a young age and my dad was like, "What are you going to do going at such a young age?"
Jessica: It was really so brave of her, really.
Tiffany: [continuing] All of a sudden – I don't know what I was thinking.
Jessica: I had my whole family supporting me. They're here with me, right now. But she [Tiffany] still doesn't have her family here and now she's so big – she's so huge – here in Korea. And, I think, her family would really be happy.
Tiffany: [searching for words] It's... it's... it's as much passion as you have, just follow it, and you can be where you want to be. I mean, I am.
Jessica: And speaking English kind of a... plus.
Tiffany: Yeah, a plus.
Jessica: Because if you can speak Korean, that's great. But if you can also speak English, it's a plus.
Soompi: But how good does someone's Korean have to be?
Tiffany: [loudly] My Korean was terrible, don't worry.
Jessica: But you can catch up!
Tiffany: Yeah, I totally studied. And we're not stupid back home, you know? But you come here and you don't know what you're saying so it makes you want to study.

Soompi (via maharu.): This next question is actually from one of our members: How long, on average, does it take you to learn a dance routine? And what techniques do you use to help you memorize them?
Jessica: As a group, maybe three full days.
Tiffany: For maybe four or five hours a day. But... but this is bad! We usually take longer – we take our time – but now that we don't have that much time, our bodies are kind of programmed to work faster. But um, yeah. About five days? A few hours a day... it will be solid. Um, kind of solid.
Soompi: Do you have any techniques that you use? Or is it just the whole group, coming together?
Tiffany: You know, we realized it's not technique, it's just practice, practice, practice. You just have to repeat it over and over.
Jessica: And before you go to sleep, you just think about it. And then you go to sleep and you dream about it...

Soompi: Now we have a question for each of you. Tiffany, so you mentioned in a 2009 interview with Arirang that you felt like you came to Korea too soon, so what is it that you miss about your American teenage years? And if you'd stayed, would you have gone to college and what would you have wanted to study?
Tiffany: [quiet for a moment] I think this is known, but... I thought I was Elle Woods. [laughs] So I wanted to go to law school. Why I thought I came to soon was because I came without even thinking. Like, I came within three weeks. I packed up my whole life in three weeks without even thinking! I was just like, "Yay!" And then now, as I'm here alone, and I have so much time to think, I think, "I could have gone to prom, I could have gone to Sadie Hawkins." But I definitely wanted to do law and I'm a big fan of literature and history, so I like writing and reading. It's kind of nerdy, but... [laughs]
Soompi: Well, what you're doing is definitely more fun than law school. I promise you.
Tiffany: [laughing] Well, maybe I'll go back. But yeah, definitely, I'd still be at school. And I wanted to go to USC so much! My sister was like, "Berkeley!" Berkeley law is always nice. My sister is at Berkeley right now for her Ph.D. For anthropology.

Soompi (via Glenn): So then, for you, Jessica, your younger sister [Krystal of f(x)] is obviously a star also at SM. Did you try to give her as much advice as possible? Or did you let her kind of learn the ropes by herself?
Jessica: Um...I tried to let her learn by herself but because I'm her sister and I'm older, she tends to ask me a lot of questions and she worries about her future. We have a lot of conversations, and actually, our members are really supportive, too.
Tiffany: It's super cute. You can totally tell... she's exactly like Jessica! It's sooo cute! I was listening to their song in the car and I was like, "Dude, did Jessica sing a song without us?" Um, I mean you can totally tell she's picked up a lot of things from Jessica. Like, her sister picked up... only her good attributes. [joking]
Jessica: That's what I'm really happy about because she can learn from my mistakes.
Soompi: And did it surprise you when she decided to get into your industry?
Tiffany: It blew us away, she was so good.
Jessica: Yeah, but it wasn't actually all of a sudden. So it wasn't really surprising.
Tiffany: [joking sentimental voice] But... it's so cute! She's growing up...
Jessica: Just seeing her on TV and onstage is really exciting.

Tiffany likes History. I chose History for my O Level & A Level subject because I like the subject.It's fate, it's destiny. LOL. She likes writing & reading. I joined Journalism club because I wanna write and I love reading fanfics (does that count? Haha). I feel so jumpy(?) after reading this. It's like we have so much in common!
Haha, Tiffany thought she was Elle Woods! Well, I never thought of myself as Elle Woods but a few years back, after watching Legally Blonde, I actually decided that I'm going to be a lawyer and was like "I wanna go to Harvard". Harvard, that was too big of a dream wasn't it? But right now, I don't really know what I want to be in the future. Ok, back to the story. Reading this, I knew I just have to put it up on this blog!
Soy's encounter with Tiffany, Sunny, Sooyoung & Hyoyeon on Dec 28th 2009. Soy said it was on that very date, two years ago (2007), that she became a SONE.

[12.28.09] Second Year as a SONE was Epic, Original - KOREA!

Haha so today Lynn and I woke up later than usual and basically wasted like half our day inside. We decided to call up Michelle and did some (more) SPAO shopping and walked around Myungdong a bit spotting the usual SNSD goodies left and right (official and just lol random stuff with their faces printed on them). After Myungdong we decided to try the bulgogi burgers at Lotteria in Daedongmun and lol departed home.

While on the subway back home lol Lynn and I talked about how fail of a day it was, especially since it was my 2nd year as a SONE. So this crazy idea came up that we were just going to sit outside of SM for a bit and then leave. It's not something we usually do or normally do but I guess we figured we had nothing to lose and I just had a really good feeling about today.

We basically got back to our hotel lol packed my laptop and a blanket and water and our lotteria burgers and then tried our best to get a taxi to the SM building but unfortunately lol it was impossible to get a taxi this late at night. SO out of nowhere lol this rather drunk gentleman spoke to us in English "where are you going?" and we we responded back with the area/location and had this conversation to him and he showed us how to use the bus system. LOL he was pretty harmless and that was our first time using the bus system so you could say it was almost like fate.

We arrived there and basically sat behind the SM building lol and spoke in English making a lot of random fans go O.o lol. We ended up sitting and watching Invincible Youth (soshi subbed of course!) on my laptop in the freezing cold. It was like -1 C when we checked the weather. We barely waited there and lol we heard the car door open to one of the vans and rushed over there to see no other than Sunny almost going into the van. We shouted out "Sunny, we're from Soshified". And she was like "Oh Soshified! Hi". Her English was really good. We asked her where Tiffany was cause Lynn and I got them these 9 shirts and wanted to give it to them but we had to explain it to Tiffany first. Then lol she cutely pointed to the building and said Tiffany was in there. So we complimented her on how cute she is in person and how amazing the concert was. She looked even more gorgeous than last time and we told her she looked so pretty without makeup and she blushingly said "thank you!".

Then out of nowhere shortly Tiffany appeared. Tiffany looked really tired but wow her eye-smile (this was my first time seeing it in person and so up close) was memorizing. You can tell she was really tired. She was surprised to see us ... haha so we were like "Hey Tiffany, we're Soshified!" And her face lit up. Then she noticed how cold we were and hugged us. Then Sunny hugged us as well. We were like "Tiffany do you remember us from Hollywood Bowl" and she looked at us for a bit and was like "Oh yeah of course! I remember you guys.." (to be honest that made my night). Lynn was telling her how she looks a lot skinnier and I told her lol she needs to stop doing those weird diets and she was like they've been really busy lately and apparently their hell is over the 31st. So we talked about how American fans usually don't do this, lol we usually don't do this, and she was like "Yeah I understand haha". I couldn't help but focus on Sunny's face the whole time because it looked like she understood everything. Then we mentioned that we got Tiffany a bag of Cheetos from America lol but left them at Ida's place and out of nowhere to the right of us we heard this huge "CHEETOOOOS?" with a cute voice haha and it was Sunny. Her face like lit up like crazy when we mentioned Cheetos and it was the cutest thing ever. Then we talked about the gifts and how she just got them and she's been too busy lately to to logon and do much of anything. Haha she said the girls loved the pink christmas tree and it was a very Soshified thing to send them. And she was very thankful for everything. We then talked about how amazing their concert was haha and I told Sunny I realllllly enjoyed her "Sunny" performance and she was like "aww thank you!" Tiffany said thanks to us for coming all the way there to see them perform. We talked a bit about how we both came from like Southern states and haven't seen snow in ages lol and we waited for them and even about how the drunk guy showed us the bus system haha and Tiffany was like "aww I'm praying for you guys!" It was a very Tiffany thing to say at the moment and just the way she said it was in itself a blessing! Haha and she hugged again for like the nth time haha because she understood how difficult this was. And then we brought over the shirts we ended up getting the girls. They have a huge 9 on them and on the back they say "a family that prays together, stays together" and Tiffany seemed to have really liked them. We talked a bit about colleges in America and random things and she said random stuff like "Oh it's an American thing".

Then Sooyoung and Hyoyeon came out. And Tiffany was like "oh there's the rest of the girls" and said something in Korean like "oh they're from Soshified" and Sooyoung and Hyoyeon both went "oh Soshified?". Lol and Sooyoung like walked over to us lol tried to give us a handshake but we just went up to hug her haha. And started saying "Thank you ... for all the support .... and gifts ..." in like impressively good English. We were like "woah your English is really good" haha and Lynn was like "you did a good job teaching them Tiffany" and Tiffany was like "haha I know" and said that actually all the girls are pretty good at speaking English they just don't show it often. And then we saw Hyo climb into the car sitting in the passenger seat. But then we heard a huge "woah woah" and saw Hyo at the driver's seat and was like Uhhhhh. Tiffany was like "oh it's ok she has her driver's license". And we were like ohhhhh ok. Haha and I went where is yours, Tiffany? And she said it was in the process lol. And then haha some other things were mentioned blah blah ... then haha we said bye and Hugged them all again and then saw Hyoyeon backing up the car and driving them back home with no manager.

We talked a bit with Tiffany about other things. We told her our gift packages have been decreasing because this year we've been focusing more on charity donations and she appreciated that. She said that she, herself, donated to a charity in Shanghai Children's fund but didn'twant to make it public because it usually got too out of hand and became too big of a thing over in Korea.

Haha we talked about some things at the end lol and she promised us something haha and I was like "don't lie ..." haha and Tiffany held my hand and said she never lies. Her hands were extremely warm lol and I forgot to wear gloves so I was freezing.

LOL so during this whole conversation the Manager was just standing there, I guess he was overwhelmed by all of the English.

Some things were omitted from the conversation we had with the girls haha because they were pretty private so I hope everyone understands and just enjoys what I can give from this fan account.

I just want to say how amazing it is that now when we say Soshified, haha the girls know what it is exactly, that's shows that we've gotten somewhere in my eyes when our girls know and follow our site as much as they do.

What an epic night! I might have forgotten certain things but forgive me haha I was too happy/cold to really remember everything. We asked for a picture again this time but haha we got something better that can't be posted but lol cause we were like right infront of the SM building haha we said it was ok cause we knew it would be difficult for her to let us take a picture like that.

Ok, look, i know for sure that SNSD will always have antis and the hating will never end. That's just reality check and, as stupid as this sounds, it would be better if it stays like that. The antis made my love for the girls grew, thank you for that antis (no sarcasms implied). From what i've read in most of the fan-accounts, the above article as an example, these girls are really sweet. Hey, at least, eventhough SNSD has heck lot of antis; their fanbase is pretty big. Antis and fans: we're even. Hearing the antis trashing the girls is really irritating and just makes me wanna swear, I admit, but I can live with that. Heck, I've been living with it my whole SONE life and I'm still alive! Haha! All is fair in love and war. Never really get what that means though so I'm applying it with how i want it to mean. You bash the girls, you're doing what you want to do. We listen to you and it just makes us love and protect the girls. Get it? Both sides of the party get what you want. You get to bash and we get to love them. See? Fair, right? An agreement we dont' even need to sign on the papers.

Also, i know that there's been a rumor of Hankyung leaving SM because he felt insulted by SNSD so I hope all of you could just IGNORE THAT NEWS!!! why the heck would he leave because he felt insulted by girls?? It made Hankyung sound LIKE an over-sensitive girl! Spare his dignity please. I don't really know why he decided to leave but Hwaiting dude!!!

On December 23rd, the Chinese Fans Website published the news "Hankyung insulted by Girls Generation repeatedly, Kim Heechul could not stand it." The news came from the anti-SNSD organization (the organization maliciously against SNSD), and it was the first time that the domestic media quoted a fake news fabricated by an ANTI organization and released it to the public.
Nevertheless, anyone who understands about SNSD and Hankyung will know that the news was completely unreal.

First, the news said that "When SJ received an entertainment interview, the MC asked Hankyung that whether his identity of being a Chinese cause inconvenience while promoting in Korea. Hankyung laughed and said something optimistic, then Heechul revealed that "There was one time we're doing makeup in the dressing room (Heechul started to do gestures), SNSD came in, and Taeyeon started yelling when she saw Hankyung "What are you doing oppa? Do you think that you are a Korean just because you dyed your hair yellow?" We felt ill at ease hearing that at the time, cause being in the same group, Hankyung ,who is a foreign member, is more like our family member. However, everyone knows that, Hankyung had his hair yellow in 2006, while SNSD made their debut on August 2nd, 2007(the time Hankyung had his hair white), it was doubtless that SNSD didn't exist at that time, how was it possible that they shared the dressing room?

Second, the news also said that "On a variety show, the MC introduced Hankyung enthusiastically as a multi-talented Chinese young man, and had he showed some traditional Chinese dance. While the guests praised Hankyung with his stunning dancing skill, Taeyeon said "Is this the level of the Chinese traditional dance?" jokingly, and Jessica continued "Even kids can dance something like this nowadays" then the nine girls laughed, Hankyung face became stiff at the moment, but the MC came to smooth things out, so he didn't say more, only covered his mouth and became more and more silent."Hankyung did dance traditional dance on shows many times, but only three on Korean variety show and two of them were in 2006! Hankyung forced himself to smile. (Hateful is the thing that SNSD didn't use honorifics toward their oppas, and it's disrespectful in Korea who emphasize the concept of seniority.)"Now this is making people not to know whether to cry or to laugh at. This wasn't a family interview at all; it was an exclusive interview of SNSD by TOM entertainment in 2008. Entitled "TOM's exclusive interview of SNSD: Learning Chinese with Hankyung oppa", the original content was:

TOM: Heard you learn to speak Chinese with Hankyung, did he give you lots of support?

Tiffany: We can't meet him often, he'll say hi to us with a smile if he saw us, members with better relation will even ask about each other.

Hyoyeon: It supposes to be us who teach Hankyung oppa how to speak Korean instead because he's working in Korea.

They used honorifics in the interview, and it was a casual talk, nonetheless it's claimed to be disrespectful, yet Hankyung wasn't even there at that time.

Fourth, "Yoona asked Hankyung when she first saw him "Why do you Chinese always come to Korea? You were able to enter the SM Company because of your appearance, right? I just couldn't get it, isn't China a large place?" The words made Heechul dissatisfied; he mentioned it on his Cyworld."
However, the truth is, Kim Heechul's Cyworld never had words like this; it was completely made up by the Antis.

LOL. Just gotta post that up. Spreading the 2Ny love. This pairing is like my fave right now. Sunny wouldn't even let Fany get up, aww, my poor baby. Ahahaha! Somehow that was hot. Me and my dirty mind, I know. Having fun, girls? Well, I am!

Gonna share you guys this audio of Fany singing Umbrella on Day 1 at SNSD 1st Asia Tour Concert. I love you girl! :

I arrived a little bit late and entered as they were playing the opening clip.
It was a video with the girls appearing like angels along with their names.

The first song wasn't a remix of Tell Me Your Wish (Genie) but the original version that came out on the Genie Dance UCC!
The one where they rest a beat then say, "Sowoneul malhaebwa"! This was the original.
They sang the song wearing a white, furry jacket. The same outfit they wore to Entertainment Tonight!
They were lipsyncing~
The girls' hair styles included long-haired Yoong, long-haired Syoung, long-haired Fany, and curly-haired Taeng haha
The rest of the girls had their regular hairstyle.

The next song Show Me Show Me~~ a brand new song!
My guess would be that the title will be 'Show Me'
It was a song where 'Show me show me' kept repeating~
Listen to the Show me Show me~ It was an amazing song
The part where the girls had JeTi in the middle and circled around them while dancing was really memorable.
JeTi's english narration was also good too.
This one was also lipsyncing!

The next song was 'So Nyuh Shi Dae'! I was so surprised when the fireworks went off. Really surprise! haha
Passing on this one since it was the usual. This one was also lipsynced.

The video that came on after was a cowboy clip with guns going off. Bang! Bang! haha
And then all of a sudden the intro to a song starts and the girls appeared~
YoonA, Taeyeon, SooYoung, Hyoyeon came out wearing cowboy outfits.
And in the middle of the song Hyoyeon had a short cowboy performance in the middle of the stage.
They started dancing a different choreography in the middle and the beginning of the next song started.

------ Their outfits and hairstyles remained the same from the beginning of the concert til this point. Just that 4 of the girls threw on a cowboy vest.

Then the opening comments~
The music for the opening comments came out
saying 'Alright. Now its time to call out the girls of SNSD'
~ Attention! This is Sergeant Sica! A military type song came out and all the girls were marching and saluting haha
"Hello~ I'm Sergeant Sic! Jessica~"
and then the next one
Who's next? This is YoonA. Crocodile Yoong~ And YoonA appeared with a shy smile on her face.
Then the next one said "My name is SoonGyu, Sunny!" and Sunny appeared and said in a loud voice "Thank You!"
The next comment said "I'm responsible for the average height of SNSD" with the appearance of SooYoung.
SooYoung came out and danced a dance that brought out her long legs haha and as she walked back in, she said "Hello Everyone~" haha
"There is a elementary school kid even in SNSD. Kiddo HyoYeon"
Hyoyeon appeared and all the girls were dancing to a child's folk song haha
"Call me KkapYul~" as Yuri appeared dancing and saying, "Hi I'm Yuri. Nice to see you all~"
Then "The goddess of SNSD, Seohyun!" and Seohyun appeared along with a soothing music. She really did look like a goddes!
"Call me Jackson Hwang!" and Tiffany appeared as she was dancing, constantly making the "OW!" sound haha she was cute
And finally Byun~~~ Taeyeon! haha Just like how she appeared on Entertainment Tonight hahahaha

After the introduction, the girls started talking!

Maknae and Hyoyeon came to my side and Wow!~ They were so pretty.
They looked like dolls with their tiny faces haha
And I saw the part where Maknae was mumbling because she forgot the lyrics haha
You couldn't really tell because they had the AR playing.

Then soon after a remix version of Etude came on with new beats! Live~
This time YoonA and Sooyoung came in front of me and WOW! SO PRETTY! just flowed out of my mouth haha
And FanyFanyFanyFany T-T also came to my side T-T.. shes so pretty.
The girls looked really free at this point haha Running back and forth, pointing at the fans haha
Hyoyeon, Yuri and YoonA were just fooling around like elementary school kids hah

And Ooh-Lala! This was also a live~
SoonGyu also came running in front of me and she really did look like a perfect size haha
They were constantly pointing at the fans in the standing section and running about.
Fooling around during the narration in the middle of the song haha

And then this time was Kissing You Remix version
during Fany's "Close my eyes and kiss your lips", Taengoo blew a really deep kiss haha
And the scene that came out on Entertainment Tonight! I thought Maknae ran over and hugged Taeng but she was hugging YoonA haha
The people in front of me were blowing kisses towards Taeng also and Yoong sent her own heart signs haha

Onew appeared from my side of the stage.
Sica was wearing a short white dress and Onew was wearing a white tux with white dress shoes!
Then there was a slight mistake during the song then a silence.. they must have been embarassed haha
They were walking towards each other to the middle of the stage and Onew was walking so straight trying not to veer off to the side.
That was cute haha. A bit shorter than I expected~
The ending of the song they sang together and shook hands. Exiting together.

Then Tiffany appears all of a sudden!
Sitting on the steps with an umbrella..
A thought came to me. This was 'Umbrella"!!! Ohahahaooha haha
She was singing a calm, ballad version while sitting on the steps.
But then she got up all of a sudden and the song changed to the normal version!!
Holding the umbrella!! Tearing off the outer jacket that she had on!!!
Short onepiece style, silver shining dress.. So short and revealing T-T
But she was so sexy! Her voice and everything.. the song was so nice
Her dancing was so sexy too! The backdancers were all wearing black~
When they were dancing with each other Woah! It's rainging~ Oooo Baby! It's raining~
As that part came on, she walked onto the middle of the stages. And then she sat down on the stage at the end of the song just like she does for Genie.
Her hairstyle was the long-haired Cleopatra hair~

Then the spotlights moved and Taengoo's solo!
Pussycat Doll's Hush Hush!
A pink jacket with support at the shoulders? haha
She was wearing leather pants. And the shirt was a bit short and was revealing her stomach.
Her waist was so sexy. And the best part was..
Her dance with the backdancer.. the amount of skinship!! They were so close to each other and dancing while touching haha
I panicked watching this hahaha And the EXPLOSION of Taeng's vocal!
She was soooo good at singing. Oh and she came up on the extended stage too!
And her hairstyle was a tied up style of her curly hair~

The next performance was YoonA's 'Introduce me to a nice person' Solo stage!
She was wearing a white wedding dress! With long-hair~
Super Junior's Eunhyuk and ShinDong featured in the performance haha
And most of this performance took place on the extended stages haha
But the only thing was that she wasn't loud enough T-T
There was a dialogue in the middle of the song. I could hear Super Junior really well but Yoong was so quite T-T
They were pointing at the fans saying, "This guy? That guy?"
And at the end ShinDong ran on stage with a random child haha
Saying, "It's this guy!"
The kid had the same hairstyle as ShinDong, it was so cute! haha

Then Sunny's solo performance~ She sang a song with the same title as her name. 'Sunny'. A dance version of it~
She was wearing an outfit where the top was a white tanktop with a black midriff section and the striped black and white skirt.
The most surprising part was when she came onto the extended stage and with the help of a backdancer she did a backflip!
That went well and the hairstyle was same as the beginning haha

When this video began, I thought I was watching Iris or something haha
YoonA was driving a red sportcar and Seohyun was in the middle of a Kendo match
Yuri was a boxer and Fany was a sniper haha I thought she was a killer at first and was surprise haha
These four came on the video and along with the subtitle 'Tough Angels'

All of a sudden girls wearing black outfits were singing Chocolate Love haha
You can just think of their outfit as similar to the white one from the beginning just without the fur haha
This time Fany and Taeng had tied up their hair~ The dance for Chocolate Love is so pretty haha

And surprisingly Destiny was the next song!
I was wondering whether or not they were going to perform that but I guess they did haha Everyone was surprised.
This song's choreography seemed to have a lot of waves haha
In the middle of the song, there was a part where Hyoyeon, Yuri and YoonA were dancing! Just like how the song is seductive
their dance seemed to seduce me haha

Jessica's diary~ It was about the fans with the giant cameras haha
About how they always take pictures. Wondering where they upload the faces, voices and pictures of the girls.
Saying, "If you see me, say, 'Sica~ I'm here~'"
Seohyun played the role of the fan with the camera haha
And then Yuri's diary~ This was about the infamous Yuri fans vs Sunny fans battle haha
"Yuri-yah!!! Sunny-yah!!!! Yuri-yah!!!!!! Sunny-yah!!!!!"
They acted out each other's fan groups haha
They appeared in the video with short hair cuts and Yuri really did look handsome;
When they said that she looked like Kang Dongwon when she has short hair wasn't a lie.. haha
And about an incident where a fan came burst through the security officials screaming,
"Yuri-yah!!! Yuri-yah!!!!! I'm going to the army!!!! Yuri-yah!!!!"
The person who played the role of the security officer was Taengoo hahah
Saying things like "You are going to be loved at the army for your loud voice. Our fans are famous for their loudness"
And then YoonA's diary~ From when she was busy filming for the drama and the girls had to go to JeJuDo,
some older lady greeted them brightly saying, "Aigo! What brings you all the way to JeJuDo?"
Hyoyeon was standing by her side and said, "Yea! She's Saebyuk! She's Saebyuk!"
but the older lady replied, "Who's Saebyuk? I don't know who that is.. I just greeted you because you were pretty and I thought you guys were celebrities, I guess I was right.
If you are, then give me an autograph~"
The role of the older lady in the film was played by Sica hahaha
At this point in the video, I almost died from laughing when I saw Yoong and Hyoyeon doing their little neck dance hahaha
"Ahjumma, I'm SNSD's YoonA. I am a celebrity. I hope you'll recognize me the next time we meet~" was the ending of YoonA's diary.
And then Taeyeon's diary~
"We went to a special stage today~ None other than the most dependable group of Soshi fans, the army"
They screamed, "I love you Yuri, Seohyun and YoonA~ aigoo... they all like other members.. Where are my fans~~"
"I love Taengoo more than my mom~~"
And then she repeated what Psy had said before haha

The rest of the girls appeared in the middle of the song on kickboards and threw flower petals at the audience
But YoonA and Sooyoung's boards crashed in the middle haha

Then Sooyoung's solo! She sang 'Santa Baby'
She sang on the center of the stage next to an equipment that looked like a gift

Then Seohyun's solo~
She started by playing the piano and dancing
then sang '16 Going on 17'
The outfit was a long white dress and she really looked like a doll also
The stage looked like a stage for a musical and she looked like a ballerina
In the end, she did the splits and the backdancer carried her out in that exact pose
The was she was shaking her legs while being carried out was cute haha

Then the girls appeared wearing a raincoat and started singing 'Singing In the Rain'~
Umbrellas fly towards them on the screen and magically appear in their hands haha
All the girls were perfect except for Fany haha
We figured it out because she made it so awkward haha
Sica and Sooyoung were holding purple umbrellas.

Yuri's solo dance was... wow.. haha
I can dare say that Yuri's solo was the best

And Amber featured as a rapper haha
When Amber screamed out "Scream!!" that was so cute~
She seemed really excited haha

And last but not least, Hyoyeon's solo!!!
She was dancing to a remix version of Genie... she's just amazing at dancing. She danced hard enough to make it seem as if she'll break her bones haha
She was wearing a hiphop style hat, baseball jacket and a shiny-decorated jeans and danced on the steps of the stage.
She was dancing the robot and her Popping was just jjang.
No one can follow Hyoyeon at dancing.. I was just in awe throughout the whole perf haha

Then the girls in charge of the dancing in SNSD came out and had a dance battle~ I wasn't sure what the song was haha

The song started with 'One! Two! Three! Four!' that part was memorable.
YoonA was the first one to appear wearing a red jumpsuit? The ones people wear while working haha She was dancing with that outfit on
By this time she had removed her long hair extensions and had tied the front of her short hair haha
And Sooyoung and Yuri appeared! Sooyoung was also dressed like YoonA

Yuri had the jumpsuit tied around her waist, wearing just a tanktop
Hyoyeon came on the stage last and was wearing her jumpsuit the way Yuri was wearing her's.

I was thinking that they were going to keep 'Into the New World' as their last song but they proved me wrong haha
Their outfits were baseball jackets with white sleeves and a pink midsection. But the jacket was really really short in the midriff area hahaha
They were wearing white teeshirts on the inside~ On the left side of the jacket was a capital G embroidered haha
Fany's hairstyle for this performance was two ponytails on either side and Taeng had a wavy hair style haha
Sica also had two ponytails but I guess something was wrong with the sound system
because Taeyeon's voiced in the beginning sounded like she had just inhale helium haha

And the next song. This is also a newly released?

A song similar to the HaHaHa song haha This song was really bright too~ a song perfect for a follow up on a title song~
The girls were once again busy running around on the stage~ Taeyeon ran over to my side and wow... she had a tiny and was really pretty
And this song had a small part where Yuri was rapping hahaha

Then as soon as that song was over, Himnae!
The girls' had rosy cheeks from running around by this and and I couldn't stop laughing haha
But they never got tired and kept running hha
At the part where Fany and Sica were singing together, the girls gathered at the back of the stage while holding hands and suddenly ran forward onto the extended stage! They seemed so happy haha
They were constantly trying to get the fans to fire up~

Then right after, 'Gee' started haha
Being a solo concert, I thought I was seeing the soldiers singing 'Gee Gee Gee Gee!' those rough voices! haha
"Listen Soneeees~" Fany's lively voice haha
"My Angel~ And my Sone~"
They started singing the first verse facing the front on the extended stage and sang the second verse while facing the 2~5 sections

In the middle of the second verse they sang while facing the 12~15 sections haha
Everyone was jumping from excitement

Then they sang 'Touch The Sky' from the 'To find my son OST'
Screaming out "Are you having fun? Let's sing together~" in the middle of the song
A few of them were getting teary-eyed again
At the end, Taeyeon said, "Everyone~ Are you having fun? There are so many fans here today, Thanks for coming~ Thank You~"
After that comment the girls walked towards the back of the stage haha
Some of the telling the other ones to hurry up haha
They were trying to create an atmosphere of a fake ending by saying things like, "Be careful on your way home~"
But the Sones are too smart to be tricked by this kind of comments haha

As everyone started screaming "Encore" from the top of their lungs, a video of the girls wearing the white outfits from the beginning of the concert came on as an ending video. Along with the girls' names
But we just kept screaming "Encore"~~ haha

As we were screaming, all of a sudden!
Dun Dun Dun~~ and 'Naengmyun' started playing!
I was looking to see if Park Myungsoo came but he wasn't there haha

I was trying to imagine what it would be like just with the girls but they completely exceeded my expectation haha
Yuri, Sunny, Taeyeon and Seohyun were roaming about on the second floor lifts

And the rest of the girls were running around the stage as if they owned it
Listening to 'Naengmyun' in the winter gave a completely different feeling haha
The funny part was when Sooyoung was singing Myungsoo's part

And she suddenly hugs Fany and sang "Heya! Heya! Fire! Fire! You believe oppa right?~" haha
And Fany singing "Yeaya! Yeaya! Warning! Warning! No! No!" her gestures were so cute, I couldn't stop smiling
The outfits of the girls were white short sleeved shirts with jeans.

The white shirt was the SPAO ones where they had their own characters drawn on them haha

Then a different HaHaHa Song!
I didn't even imagine that they were going to sing this song haha
The girls were throwing paper airplanes haha
YoonA and Fany were dancing just as the lyrics said and I started laughing again after seeing that haha
They were so cute
Their fan service was getting better and better haha

And I saw Fany messing up with spraying the water and accidentally dumping it on a person haha

At this point the girls were really excited and running around everyone!!

Fany was in the middle holding light sticks that the fans handed to her and was running around holding them haha

It seemed as if Fany and Yuri were the best at fan service! Oh and YoonA too!

The song came to an end and the girls said things like, "It's a sea of pink~ Are you having fun? How did you guys get here~"
Then Taeyeon's statement was the best
"Everyone~ You're hot right? You're hot right?! Our feet are sweating~ haha"

When she said, "You're hot right?" twice, I thought they were going to sing 'Let's Dance' haha
but saying, "Our feet are sweating" hahaha
Fany threw her arms over Taeyeon's shoulder and said while smiling, "Why did you tell them that~"

And Taeyeon started bowing in apologies and Fany started bowing alongside her haha
When Sooyoung said, "Why did they give us Ugg boots~ They could have sent us on stage barefoot" was epic haha
Then Taeyeon went on to say, "I'm so happy about the unexpected number of fans and the really loud cheers. Thanks for all your love and support" haha
"If there is a beginning, there must be an end right? This is reallly the last song~"
but Sooyoung went ahead and spoiled it by saying, "We might come out again if you call us~" haha
Taeyeon went ahead with the real finishing comment of, "Since we had you all excited and jumping, now we'll try to calm you guys down."
"Should we all create an emotional atmosphere then? We'll be singing 'Complete'~"
I was thinking, 'The really emotional part is going to start now' haha

They were all singing calmly then all of a sudden the girls gathered in a circle in the middle and it seemed as if they were praying.
Then when the music started up again, Sunny was crying and the other girls were trying to cheer her up..
Then getting emotional again at the climax of the song T-T
All of the girls were teary-eyed...
At the end they all went back to the main stage and lined up to bow to the audience.
When they started walking back in, Yuri started to cry and Sooyoung led her off the stage while trying to calm her down

But we started screaming "Encore" again after listening to what Sooyoung had said~
Then all of a sudden "Baby~ Baby~ Baby~" started blasting in the stadium haha

The girls seemed really free on this song too. Running about everywhere on the stage haha
Taeyeon and Sunny were running around together and Taeng kissed Sunny on the cheeks as if she was trying to cheer her up haha
Fany and Sica got emotional again and their faces turned red..
And Taeyeon was running around in the middle of the stage by herself and let off one of her Taeng adlibs in the middle of the extended stage~
At the end the girls called the staff and the dancers up on the stage to say goodbye together
but Yuri and Fany were still off at the other end of the stage and Taeyeon was calling out to them to hurry up! haha
And seeing Fany and Yuri running across listening to Taeng haha
And running around to either ends of the stage shaking people's hands
Yuri and Sica would not let go of each other's hands haha
And YoonA was running with a light up hairband, from who knows where she got it haha
On the left end of the extended stage, the girls were taking pictures with the staff members
and when Fany saw this she ran over next to Taeyeon but the flash went off before she got there
Fany's angry face was so cute haha
Then they really gathered at the main stage to say their real goodbyes~ Thanks~ thank you~ haha
Sica with her arm over Yuri's shoulder made me think of Sergeant Sic once again haha

Just got back from the concert!! Sorry can't backtrack so if the details have already been shared please ignore!!

Allover the place spazzing!

Opening clip- reminded me so much of SuJu's but in a good way! very well done- same voiceover saying 9 angels and the girls break out from statues and come flying together.

Opening number- Genie with original chorus and changed (kinda rock ish) chorus..Sica messed up lol..and so did Hyo i think but it was cute and nothing big--it was smooth sailing after! They all had their hoodies up but Hyo's fell right at the beginning and she tried pulling it up at first but then was like wtever. By the end of the song, only Seohyun still had her hoodie.
New song-<3ed> They sounded a bit more up tempo and faster but the girls were running all over the place! It was adorable and hilarious watching the people in standing areas. Lol the boys were like drooling!

Onew and Sica duet. ahh Onew looked dashing in his white suit and Sica very pretty! They came from opposite sides of the stage and there were pink petals flying around. They ended with a handshake though lol Onew!!
Fany- Umbrella started out acoustic and then for the chorus she took off her shirt and was in a super short gold dress!
I have to admit I was pretty blown away by her vocals. She did great and had a lot of charisma and turned on the smexiness!
Taeyeon was next in a tummy revealing red button up shirt and leather pants.Thank god they changed her hair cos the opening curls were horrible! She sounded amazing though and was surprisingly hot too.lol. There were parts where she was leaning on the boys..kinda like Miryo does in Signs and they even carried her up. In the middle she changed the song to I will survive and then again back to Hush Hush. was impressive and she definitely shows potential in becoming a solo singer-performer.
Sunny's solo was Sunny and very cutesy but she added a kickass back flip (she stood on one of the boys hands and flipped over) and made the boys go crazy by throwing something into the crowd..dont know what it was. Also, I think she had the best hair and make up of the night!

Part 2:

Oh yeah i saw Isak, f(x) and Taemin/Jonghyun/Minho walk in..They sat in the section below me so I could kinda stalk the Shinee boys whenever the lights were on! Onew came in shortly after he finished his duet.

yeah Sooyoung had extentions throughout.Most of them had them at one point or the other but Sica/Fany and Yoona had theirs out for the end.

Tough Angel Video with YoonYul,Fany and maknae: Maknae was practising Kendo.Yoona was all secret agenty in a really awesome red car, Yuri was working out-doing push ups/boxing/skipping and Fany was with a gun practising on a target!

The girls came out from the the standing area for Chocolate Love- Same outfit as Melon Awards
The crowd sure loves the song!
Then Destiny which I had really been looking forward to- the choreography was great with lots of waves and sultry movements in the same gene as Chocolate LOve.

SNSD Diary video about their fans- HILARIOUS
Sica's diary abt the fan had Seohyun acting in it and she kept changing her mind so first Seohyun had a beard but since Sica said "unnie" she had to take off the beard and wig and was all "unnie!!"
Yuri's diary was about her and Sunny's fan fighting. She was dressed as a boy shouting "Sunny" and Sunny - "Yuri". They make good boys!
Yoona's was about an ahjumma not knowing she was from SNSD and something about Saebyuk. Yoon and Hyo were in their Genie police outfits and doing really funny head movements and Sica was the ahjumma. So funny.
Then Taeng's diary was about performing for the army and all the other girls fans. She was sad cos she didn't see any of her fans but turns out they were also shorties like her so couldnt be seen. haha Yoon Sooyoung and Fany were the short but super enthusiastic army fans..Sooyoung was hilarious and had the entire hall cracking up with her manly "GEE GEE GEE" Taeyeon's diary ended with her wondering if her fans would betray her upon discovering Kim Tae Hee and they did.lol

Then the girls came out in HEIDI costumes and sat on the stairs. They sang an acoustic-y version of Honey. Very pretty- the song and the girls
Merry Go round was also great- TaengSic were awesome in this segment!!
Then HyoSun stood up and went on one side and I think maybe SooYul? on the other. They sang Dear Mom..so sweet and Fany started crying at the end. TaengSicSunny and Sooyoung also looked like they were close to crying.
KimChoding on the other hand was enthusiastically waving at her mom saying "Umma saranghae". (all the parents and guests sat in the section below but since it was also the "HAppy Family Area" not sure who who was)

Then they sang Day by Day with just the main vocalists sitting on the stairs. All of a sudden during the chorus, the rest came out on scootys and HIGH HEELS!! they had baskets of roses on their scootys so they rode around throwing the roses into the crowd. Hyo adorably came up to the front where the sound controllers were and gave some roses (turns out it was Shim JaeWon and other ppl who helped with the show! so sweet)

My child? 동화had great CGs. It had a fairytale/children's classics theme and was very cute with castles and everything!

Then funny video of the Korean Cinderella Story: Gongji and Patji. Sunny is the Cinderella and HyoSic the evil step sisters bullying her all the time. Taengoo was a random frog(?) lol..and SooYoung an old person. Anyway HyoSic comically bully Sunny and Sica slaps her, Hyo punches her but then gets slapped by Sica too so HyoSun bond together. TaengSic are like all happy spinning around holding hands while HyoSun prepare for battle...dance battle that is ..haha they are sooo funny. Eventually they battle it out where it turns out SooYoung is actually a great person in disguise who loves dancing so HyoSun win and are all happy

Part 3:

Sica solo stage- Barbie girl with Key. <<>Sooyoung solo- Santa baby-omg she's skiiiiinyy!! Anyway she did great! There was a point where the boys all carried her sideways..oh and she had a huge bow on her butt.haha

Seohyun came out playing some crazy piano and then stopped. She was like a doll and some guys came up and had to wind her. Then she came to life and sang I am sixteen going on 17 (Sound of Music keke) And I think there was a point where she did a wicked split. She had old school bloomers on . All danced together and it started raining on on part- the girls were right behind it and at the end most of them jumped into the rain(w.their umbrellas) for a quick second but Hyo cheated and only put one foot in quickly

Somewhere in the rainbow by TaengSicSunSeo>>All of them were AMAZING!! Like wow!! and then Suddenly Fany came flying out above the girls in a white angelic dress and Yuri from the other side. Then HyoYoung and finally Yoona. Sooyoung was hilarious coming out doing the Superman pose and was totally enjoying it. Hyo on the other hand looked a little apprehensive and looked like she was rushing to get back

F(x) came out and the crowd went nuts.lol . Onew and Jonghyun were also going crazy doing the entire choreography. Taemin sat unmoving next to Onew lol. Oh yea when Key came back from his duet all the boys were like cheering and hi-fiving him.so cute!

Then Yul solo time. Ciara 1,2 step: She was in workout clothes and although I think the audio was prerecorded it was great and really suited her voice. Her dance was hot too..she knows how to do those waves and put in the sultriness! She had an exercise top on and kept teasing the crowd by lifting her open sweatshirt and at the end took it off. Amber rapped with her and the boys were cheering just as much for her

And then yesss!!!! HYO!!!! I knew it was her turn FINALLY
It started with Genie remix- Sowoneul malhebwa. rofl. She was dressed so hip hop like a cross between MJ and Chris Brown with a huge Taeyang style hat and a big jacket! She did the genie dance steps but isolated and breakdancey. Soo coool! and then came down from the top and there was a big dance crew and she danced to that song.. forget the title "everybody in the club get tipsy" (?) It was awesome though cos as soon as the opening beats started I knew it was going to be good. Sorry Hyobias so this is longer than the others. Her solo was awesome and she showed that she still has all those mad skills from before. There was a far bit of hiphop/popping locking everything..such a blur but there was a move that she did on the floor that was wicked.
THe funniest thing was watching Onew and Jonghyun who were being all gangsta and doing the hand and rapping movements Then when her performance ended, Onew threw both his hands in the air and was like "yeah!" HyOnew <3>

Part 4:

** oops sorry forgot to mention Yoona's solo earlier. It was in the first set and she came in a short wedding dress. Hyukjae and Shindong came to rap for her.She went down on the steps pretty close to the standing crowd and I think was pretending to look for a guy. Shindong then came down to the family area and picked a super cute kid who got to go on stage and took a picture with yoona at the end! OMG the kid;s reaction was the cutest ^^

Anyway back to the events..after Dance Battle there was a video with YooYoung Jin (is that his name? the man who writes songs and does the talking in the beginning of GEnie?) anyway his song was like a tribute to SNSD...haha kinda cheesy but sweet I guess. Anyway the video showed all the girls putting on make up/getting ready etc. and then they walked on the runway. All were in dresses except HYo who was in a smexy pants and suspenders combo. Video ended with her at the centre and the girls in dresses flanking her.

Then the opening beats of ITNW and the crowd went crazy. They were wearing the soccer/cheerleadery outfits from the promos. Then I think new song and then Him Nae.
I got distracted watching Onew lol..he's like a little bobblehead. During the YooYoungJin song him and Jonghyun got tired from moving their heads and even made hand movements to go with the song. And during ITNW he was doing all the steps and got so into it, he almost jumped out of his seat to cheer for the high kick moment During Him Nae all the girls were running around and Hyo and Yuri came over at one point and Hyo was waving at them so they waved back and during the "baro neo" part they were all pointing towards each other!

Again when Gee started he was all like "YAYYY!!" The girls danced the song facing forward and then they all turned to the side left and for the next verse right..all fans got a good view. Then Touch the Sky and they said a short goodbye. Hyo as she was going out came over to the fans and was telling them to shout "encore"

Finally they came out wearing their SPAO shirts and UGGS

Then they said their goodbyes and thankyous. Taeyeon was like "It's hot right?" and i think Syoung went "we;re wearing UGGS! can we go barefeet>?"and said that final song will be Complete.
In the beginning they moved around but then came together to the center.During Taeyeon's high note, the music suddenly stopped and the girls were all in a circle holding hands and looking down. It was such a great moment! and then the music started again and the stage was rotating. Sunny had her head down and started crying so Hyo hugged her and rocked her back and forth slightly. Then they went away and many fans thought it was the end and started leaving when suddenly "baby baby"

the girls came out again.And this time thanked the staff and got them to come up. Jaewon and the other choreographers and dancers from backstage. They all held hands and bowed. on all sides. Jaewon and the others were so funny taking pictures on stage. Then they walked to the main stage and had their final bow

There were some cute member moments like HyoTae butt bump. 2Ny doing a butt-jiggle(!?!? sorry if it sounds wierd but that's the only word I can think to describe it.lol) and Sica accidentally stepping on Hyo's foot right at the end and Hyo pretending to hit her... but my head hurts from all the writing so am off to bed. will write more tomorrow if I can remember

So Nyuh Shi Dae's 1st Asia Tour Concert has started today, Dec 19th 2009 (my Mom's B'day lol). Of course, the tour would start in Korea. Duhhh, like i wud be there? (needs $$$$ xah) I watched Entertainment Relay's interview for today's concert & ugh, I am so jealous of those people who were there. Lucky Koreans.

I feel like screaming for Tiffany right now. You look hot in the white hoodie & I love your hair. They said you did Umbrella, i don't know whether you sang or danced to it (they say the girls did a magic show with umbrellas) but I wanna watch it.

Last night, Dec 16th 2009, Girls' Generation a.k.a So Nyuh Shi Dae received 6 awards at the Melon Music Awards. The girls received the biggest awards of the night. 2009 Artist Award & 2009 Song Award. Definitely, a night for all SONEs to celebrate.

At the '2009 Melon Music Awards' SNSD was awarded the 'Odyssey'
award.

The ceremony was hosted by Jang GeunSeok. The TOP 10 awards were
pre-elected to include 2PM, Brown Eyed Girls, SNSD, Super Junior, Kara, 8eight,
Davichi and 2NE1. Kim TaeWoo, with his 20th debut anniversary and the
protagonist Lee SeungKi opened an amazing concert along with the Top 10 award
winners.

The winners of many other award categories also attracted great interest.
Pro gamer Im YoHan, Kim TaekYong, composer couple Joo YoungHoon-Lee YoonMi,
composer Kim HyungSeok, pianist Lee RoomA, Jin Bora, ballerina Kim JooWon,

Hey ya'll. Ok, just now I watched Sang Sang Plus ft Tiffany, Yoona,Sunny, Key, Onew, Minho and I was so giddy watching. The show was fun! You guys gotta watch it!

There was this part where Yoona, Fany & Sunny had to vote 'yes' or 'no' for questions about each of them by taking turns & when it was Fany's turn, the question was "Tiffany's jealousy is wild?". All three of them voted 'yes'. Afterwards, Sunny explained that sometimes she calls Fany with 'baby' but there was one time when Sunny calls Seohyun 'baby' so Fany went to Sunny and go "Baby? I thought you'd only call me baby?". Sunny said it was as if she cheated on her lover.

During Yoona's turn, one of the questions was "Yoona is the prettiest amongst girl groups?"

Sunny & Fany voted 'no' but lol, Yoona voted 'yes' and was nodding like a dork. Also, there was a part where Sunny showed her aegyo but Fany was annoyed and kicked Sunny. OMG, that was so funny.

It's 2.15 am and I had finished watching 'You're Beautiful' just a few minutes ago. It's over and I'm starting to show You're Beautiful withdrawal symptoms. This drama made me 'gerigitan'!!

Also, right now, I have a new eye-candy (while Fany's my love) and it is Park Shin Hye a.k.a Go Minam a.k.a Go Minyu. She's the female lead character of the drama. I first saw her in Prince Hours but that drama was , in my opinion, a big flop and I didn't really pay much attention to the girl except for the fact that I pitied her for acting there as I think the drama was such a waste of her talent.

Not only that, I'm in love with all the four A.N.Jell members! Hwang Tae Kyung, Kang Shin Woo, Jeremy, Go Minam!! Saranghae!!! OMG! *faints*

Hwang Tae Kyung, played by cutie Jang Geun Seuk is the male lead character in this drama. He's the leader of A.N.Jell and is a hygiene freak. And he smiles like a kid!

Kang Shin Woo, the sweet and caring guy, is portrayed by Jeong Yeong Hwa. As it has already become a tradition to KDramas that there will always be another guy chasing the girl, you guys might already guessed it that this guy IS the OTHER guy.

Jeremy, the cute and happy guy who loves to party, is played by FT Island's own Lee Hong Ki. I've already known this guy through FT Island and he's no stranger to me. (Actually, out of the A.N.Jell members only Kang Shin Woo is a stranger to me.)

Lastly, my favourite member, Go Minam or should I say, Go Minyu?
Go Minyu, played by Park Shin Hye, was about to be a nun if it wasn't for her twin brother, Go Minam; also played by Park Shin Hye, who was about to join A.N.Jell but under some circumstances he was unable to. In the end, Go Minyu had to disguise herself as her own brother. Dang, I really love it when this girl plays a guy. The messy hair, baggy pants, hoodies etc. When she wears it, she works it!

Bye bye Kyungsan. Everything has to come to an end at some point.

KBS JOY will be wrapping up 'SNSD's Hello Baby' on the 17th of November,
cutting a long six month march.

Through 'Hello Baby' we were able to see more than cute idols,
but responsible, honest and a more serious side to SNSD.

The SNSD members that gathered for the last recording
could not hold in their feelings and eventually shed their tears.
SNSD took photos with Kyungsan after the recording,
but were unable to leave because of the attachment they had gained for Kyungsan.

At the beginning of the show Tiffany admitted that she had "a fear of babies"
she now says that "through this program I was able to slowly cure myself of the fear,
and I learned how to truly love a baby."

Tiffany was the most sorrowful about parting with Kyungsan,
she could not leave the location and kept circling the recording area,
which also made the staff feel distressed.

SNSD said "as much as Kyungsan has grown, we think we've matured that much too",
"we were able to gain a deeper appreciation and gratitude towards our parents"
showing a new level of maturity.

The last episode is to be aired on November 17th, 11:10 PM (Korean Time)

So yeah, O'level is over! And I'm tryin to catch up with SSF.

Here's an article released on SSF while I was taking a break from there. So sweet of my girls! It was taken from Ceci's Fashion Editor's blog[09.12.09].

SNSD members are all nice. Especially Tiffany and Sunny are examples of really nice young adults, which is kind of hard to find these days. They are like angels. I should have known it from the last photoshoot I had with them. Those two greeted 45 staff members individually. Truthfully, this never happens and I would almost say that it's weird to see such situation.

Most of the times, other idol groups would only greet important staff members in the beginning and thank only the important staff members after the photoshoots. But they were really different. It made me realized why teens like SNSD so much.

After greeting all 45 members, Sunny came upto me and said, "Unnie! I know I'm going to make mistakes, so just look over them for me, okay?" How sweet. I mean, she actually admitted that she had faults and apologized for them beforehand. I felt so thankful for the sincere, yet friendly comment. All I could do was nod and go into shooting. I guess it was hot; the makeup kept erasing. So Sunny kept fixing the smears with a kleenex. "I'm sorry..." she would say. I wasn't really bothered by her actions but hearing her apology was... it was one of those moments when you didn't ask for anything but someone did something for you anyways...? It made me happier and made a gesture to assure her that it was okay which allowed her to relax. Then Sunny said, "Okay then. Let's keep going! Fighting!" and punched the air in replenished strength. That positive energy spread throughout the photoshoot. It was really nice to see that. She never showed a sign of being worn out (it took Sunny about 2 hours and 30 minutes for her to finish) and kept smiling which made other smile with her.

Tiffany was also very unique. All throughout shooting, she kept advertising for us. I guess she had a phone call during the 1 hour break for lunch. She kept repeating on the phone that everyone here is really nice and fun to work with. That made me feel so thankful, but in addition, she would make and bring coffee for staff members. Usually it would be the staffs who would bring coffee for the idols, so how nice must that have been... Photographer Kim Dongchul was eating a sandwich and she went over there to thank him and give him a little massage. After shooting, Kim Dongchul said, "They are really nice people. I wish I can marry off my son to one of them," and was full of other good compliments.

Of course, all the idol groups have a lot of passion and work hard during photoshoots, but SNSD was the first idol group that cared about their staff members with smiles that never left the photoshoot. I know they left a big impression on my experience with them; I would never forget them. Tiffany and Sunny were especially good help for me. When the pictures weren't as good as I wanted them to be (the photoshoot was in August), they volunteered that they would come on the weekend for a re-shoot... Tiffany brought a chair for the editor who stood up to organize the charts, and Sunny, who did not have any breakfast herself, handed out sandwiches to all staff members before sitting down to eat herself.

I really want to thank the two of them and say that they grew up really well. I remember being really surprised about a few weeks ago, on Kim Jungeun's Chocolate, Tiffany said that her mother... was not with her anymore. I thought that Tiffany was raised so well inspite of that and would like to see my daughters grow up to be like Tiffany in the future.

isak mentioned that yesterday, fany messaged her to ask her if she wanted to come with her to the ALL SHOOK UP musical since she had tickets. isak asked whether there would be managers around but fany said, if isak comes with her, then there wont be managers, so they went! :DDD isak said that fany seems to be doing well, much better than the last time she saw her and the time she was stressed [im glad fany is much better nwo ] she was eating well etc etc. basically, they hanged out yesterday which is awesome cos isak said she havent seen fany since around feb, though they kept in contact. and a listener on mdb asked isak whether they talked abt kyungsan. and isak said fany showed her pics of kyungsan and then said to her "unnie, im not a baby person" lol

Hello fellas, as usual I just wanna ramble here.

I read a news article on Soshified about SNSD being the guest of the show, Chocolate, which will air on August 15th 2009. Most of you had probably found out about that and I don't even have to mention what they talked about on the show: Mothers. You guys pobably know this too, Tiffany admitted for the first time since debut in a broadcast that her mother had passed away.

Just about half an hour ago, I found something more regarding Tiffany. I won't state it here as it is very sensitive and quite dark. I was shocked of it. I don't know if it's true but it seems like it. I'm just amazed at how Tiffany coped with it. Coped with ALL of it! She's so strong, it's just rare.

I just wanna say how proud I am of this girl. I don't care what others think or said of her, I chose her as someone I look up to so I'll just have to accept her the way she is. She's a good girl.

Today, August 1st 2009, is the 20th birthday of the number one idol in my heart : TIFFANY a.k.a Stephanie Hwang Mi Young of Girls' Generation.
I don't really know what to say other than spazzing "I love you Tiffany!" a lot. Haha!

Tiffany's rendition of Pussycat Dolls' Stick With You was definitely great. She has a lot more to improve though and she knows that very well. Still, you can't deny what power her voice possess. It's the soul carried in it. Rarely we could find someone who holds that specialty.

A pretty face, a soulful voice and now, a beautiful personality. When I first came across her name, there were always negative comments on her personality. I thank god that I've always had curiosity over everything that I decided to find out more about her. My research squashed all those negativeness on her. She is one very KIND girl. As if kindness is not enough, she's also mentally strong and hardworking.

At first, I wasn't really in the mood to update this blog but after watching a video of Tiffany, Sunny, Jessica and Sooyoung singing Spicegirls' Wannabe, I'm pumped up to update. I'll tell and show you the video later in this article.

I found a subbed video of Tiffany and Yoona; explaining the whole skirt lifting incident, during ChinChin Radio show. You go find the video yourself okay. It was actually nothing, netizens exaggerate too much. And by the way, some of you had probably knew this already but I'm tellin you anyway, the cake which you saw SNSD eating at the radio show was actually a Baskin Robbins ice-cream cake given by SSF. I didn't really donate cuz you know, i can't even send my money and i don't even have a credit card. SSF jjang!!!! The cake aren't the only things SSF got the girls on that day. They were given bento boxes filled with food, drinks and moar! Ah, of course, the present that made me really impressed was a Nikon D60 camera. o.0

The next day after the radio show, Tiffany Hwang Mi Young, my No.1 idol whom I love so very much, logged in to SSF!!!!! She even talked in the shoutbox!!! Unfortunately; sadly; depressingly; unbelievably; (Can I just kill my self now?) I wasn't ON SSF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What the hell???? I'm always on SSF and I would always be monitoring the sbox but it was that retarded thought of updating this blog that made me missed Fany logging on. This is such an epic FAIL, Rone!!!!

I saw some of the screen captures being posted in SSF on Tiffany logging on to SSF. She was really in a hurry and her replies are so CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

June was a crazy month! A lot of things went on. Birthdays, Swine Flu spreading like mad (nauzubillah but it is spreading), SNSD comeback (for us fans), etc. Happy July by the way and yesterday was a National Day for Canada? I don't really know. Okay.

28th June 2009 was SNSD's maknae's, Seohyun, 18th birthday. She's finally legal in other parts of the world except Korea. Yayy! You know, sometimes when I look at Maknae's pictures, it reminds me of my youngest sister. They kinda look alike.

Two days ago, I watched the 2nd episode of 'Hello Baby' with SNSD (except for Sica) in it. The girls are supposed to take care of this one baby, i think his name is Kyungsan. Well, the girls did quite okay but I feel sorry for Fany cuz she felt a little left out when the baby is just so picky when it comes to her.I swear, I cried for the girl. At some parts of the show, I feel like scolding the baby! However, Tiffany didn't give up, she put on a smile and tried her best to win the baby's heart. The outcome of her hard work, near the ending of the show when each of the members were trying to get the baby come to them, the baby picked Fany! Boy, you should have seen Fany's smile, it was such a touching moment, she even held the baby in her hands. She's a lil' scared of kids. I'm so proud of this girl!

SNSD's full mp3 of Genie was released today, 22nd June 2009 at 10.00 am (Korean Time). I'm not really sure about the time but that's what they said.

I didn't log on to SSF this morning cuz i was busy getting ready to go to the Mall to hang out with my friends. I do know that the mp3's gonna be released today. Oh yeah, i'd like to take this opportunity to complain on the two people who made Trisya and I walk around within the building of the Mall for nearly an hour; or maybe it had exceeded an hour; Saffa and Khalish. LOL. Just Kidding!
And let me just express how impressed i am with the movie, Jangan Pandang Belakang Congkak. It's a GURRREAT movie. Funny but scary at some points of the movie. Watch it and you won't regret it. :)

So yeah, when i got home, the first thing i did was turn on my laptop and check out SSF. I asked the people in the sbox whether or not the full mp3 of Genie had been released. I got a 'yes'. Next stop, YouTube. People are so fast at uploading the song on YouTube, of course, it's showbiz after all people, showbiz. I clicked on the one with a download link included in the page but the link didn't work. So, i downloaded the video and converted it into an mp3 my self. After that, i made a 4shared account, yes, a 4shared account. Why? Cuz there weren't many mp3 download links of Genie so i decided to make one.

If someone in the sbox didn't mention who was singing which, I couldn't have recognized Fany's voice even after several repeats of the song. After that person said it, i focused my hearing exclusively at the beginning of the second verse (1:23) and realized that it's really Fany's voice. The 'bwaa...' part of 'sowoneul malhaebwaa...' was the part that made me realize that it was Fany singing. That's her signature singing style or voice. You have to listen really closely, use a set of headphones if you may.

"DJ, put it back on". i really think that this part is really sexy. I don't know who's voice it is. But I kinda think it's Fany. Or maybe Sica.

On 19th June 2009, the teaser of SNSD's new single was released. You don't know how their fans have been spending their day on the 18th and 19th. People in the SSF sbox were askin' each other has the teaser been released yet or what time's it's gonna be released when nobody knows the answer. People's predictions of the time the teaser will be released : 10-11 am or 4-5pm. It didn't come out at these times.

I was having my tuition classes when the teaser came out. Some said it came out at 9:09pm? Nice number. lol.

I gotta get used to Fany's hair. The bottom part of the hair is funny. I like the beat of the song. I'd describe the concept as funky but cute in a way.

Yesterday, during Bio tuition class, our teacher told us about how 'romantic' hornbills are. When a female hornbill is about to lay her eggs, the male hornbill will bring her deep inside the forest; a virgin forest (undisturbed forest) to be exact, to prevent disturbances. The male would find a big hole in a tree for the female to live in. After that, the male will cover the hole with twigs and leaves until only a tiny hole can be seen; big enough for the male to feed the female through it. (i'm not really sure what material it uses to cover the hole cuz my attention was interrupted for a while at that time.) Everyday, the male hornbill would fly around the tree to guard the female hornbill with the exception of when it's trying to find food for its mate. However, after the female hornbill had laid her eggs, it will still stay in the tree until the little birdlings know how to fly. Their father will continue his job to guard and feed not only the mother but the little birds as well since he is their only source to obtain food regarded that they have no contacts with the outside world.

Our teacher continued that if you kill a hornbill, you won't just affect its life but also the lives of its family. So, SAVE THE HORNBILLS! And remember, Borneo has all the 8 species of hornbills. How cool is that?

The girls went to LA just a few days ago for Hollywood Bowl. Fany arrived in LA a few days earlier than the other girls. She spent her time with her family and friends. At first, i thought the guy above, Nick Kim is her brother but it turns out that he's actually Fany's friend from Diamond Bar High School. I know they're just friends but i'm still jealous.
But i'm so happy she got the chance to meet her family back, i mean, she doesn't get the chance to meet them always, you know. I think it has probably been a few years since she last saw her family.

I watched a video of her signing for her fans, i'm sooooo jealous of the fans!!!!!! Nick Kim and her other friends were there too. They were teasing her by saying things like "Tiffany, sign my shirt!", "Tiffany, you're so awesome!" and stuff. LOL. Her friends are cool.

EDIT:Okay, so this guy is not Nick Kim. His real name is Jun?? I don't know but a guy named Jun tried to clear this up in Soshified saying that the pictures (the above pic and some other pics) were leaked from his facebook. Whatever it is, i'm just not sure.

And Soy was there too but you can only hear her voice. The voice saying "Tiffany, you're so awesome" at the very beginning before Fany's friend, Nick Kim, said the exact same thing in the video, that's Soy's voice. I'm confident of it.
I read Soy's fan-account. Soy and the other soshified members were stalking the girls like everywhere, and there was this one very jealousy-boosting-miraculous coincidence that Soy experienced. She just walked out of the restroom in the lobby and was using the back way. There was someone in front of Soy walking and it was.... TIFFANY!!!!!! OMG! The other stalkers were busy stalking the the elevators and so Tiffany is like safe from being attacked with the crowd. Tiffany sat at a sitting corner alone and Soy introduced her self to Fany. As how Soy had described it 'like a dream', Tiffany invited Soy to sit across her. And they chatted. Soy said talking to her is like talking to a friend, no awkwardness.

Let me just quote what Soy said about talking with Tiffany:

"And I just told her that’s how popular they were in Internationally and she just went thank you again and constantly smile and talked like a pure valley girl but it was so addictive watching her talk and just listening to her. She was so awesome with answering all my questions."

Of all the nine Soshi members, Fany's butt is..., OMG this feels TOO gay (HELP!!!), the... ( i'm really taking a long time typing this), you know what, let's just say her curves are visible if compared to the other members. The girl who started this topic just can't get her words right cuz, like i said, it feels so gay and perverted. OMG! And she said this is one of the reasons we like her. She's right though. This feels so wrong and awkward but i still wanna go on. HELP!!!! OMG! Is it 15 minutes already? i've been spending a long time typing this. I think i'm blushing of embarrassment or something. WTH! This is crazy.

I feel soooo sleepy now. I've been listening to this remix by Aliks Tae, it's a remix of Gee- SNSD and Poker Face-Lady Gaga. The remix is soooo cool yo!

Anyway, last Sunday (was it Sunday?), Tiffany and Yuri of SNSD debuted as the new hosts of Music Core.

In case you guys are wondering who the guy in the middle is, he's Nassun, the rapper in Lee Hyori's U Go Girl. Before this he has a moustache and it kinda freaks me out. It's good he shaved it off but he still freaks me out. I feel bad for the girls. No offence to Nassun but i don't really like it when a guy his age gets near my Fany.

K.Will and Tiffany's FULL duet song called 'A girl meets love' had just been released on 31st March 2009.

At first I didn't like the beginning part of the song because it was too slow and I only like the song from the part when Fany starts to sing. I know, it's a ballad and ballad tends to be slow. I can't help it, okay. I'm just too biased. I was really anticipating Fany's part so much. So after Fany's part started until the end of the song even with K.Will singing, i love it cuz my mood just lights up.
But now, after repeatedly (actually after the second time) listening to it, I love the song from the beginning till the end.

Today, I logged on to Soshified and was reading people's conversation in the Sbox. I was shocked when our Forum Founder said that she wants to quit being our forum founder. She posted a big notice saying that she's resigning because she can't handle the big growing international forum anymore. (she's only 17 anyway). And she said she's currently in bad conditions with one of the Administrators of the forum. People in the Sbox found it hard to believe because it's April Fool's day. They thought it was just a prank. Even i thought it was a prank too. But our founder insisted that she was being serious and she sounded so pissed off that the people in the Sbox just won't believe her.

After that they started believing our forum founder's resignation is true. Our founder said that her successor is her trusted friend. She had her faith in him on continuing the job of the forum leader. About 20 minutes after that, the said successor appeared in the Sbox, with his username being coloured with the colour that only the forum founder can use. I was shocked. Soy gave him a piece of advice and also a warning if he ever make drastic changes to the forum. Soy then left the Sbox leaving the successor with the people in the Sbox. After talking with the people in the Sbox, he then left the Sbox. The people in the Sbox, started talking whether or not the successor can handle the forum without changing how the forum had always been. They talked on and on and on. And the funny thing is, i was reading it. Yeah, i'm a busybody.

As I was scrolling down the Sbox reading their conversation, suddenly a logo of the FBI appeared with this sentence just below it in big fonts:

'CHILD PORNOGRAPHY DOESN'T PAY'

followed by some sentences like
'the owner of this website will not help the user of this bla bla bla....' it's something like that lah. U get the point.

Reading the child porn thing, i panicked. Immediately, i closed the tab of the page. And opened another active tab to Soshified. I tried to view my profile but then a white screen appeared with the words 'Happy April Fool's Day' on the top left side of the screen. That was a big surprise. I went back to Soshified's main page, and everyone in the Sbox was talking about the child porn prank. They suspect that the prank meant that Soy's resignation was just a prank and the child porn thing is their way of telling us. But it still haven't been confirmed yet, plus there are some people who said that Soy was really being serious and all of us Soshified members should just accept it.

Then, i went to Tutong so i didn't know what happened after that in Soshified. When i got back on Soshified again, the situation was still the same. But after that Soy appeared in the Sbox again clearing things up. It was a prank all along.

Yesterday was a pretty uhm... i don't know how to describe it.
What happened to me yesterday:

1. Picked up my iPhone from AV electronics. My iPhone got formatted and upgraded by the shop. It can access YouTube now. I need to upgrade my PC's iTunes to put songs and photos into my iPhone. Not wanting to repeat my previous attempt to upgrade my iPhone by myself, which ended up with my iPhone being formatted and my dad had to pay $100 to fix it, i'm not gonna upgrade my PC's iTunes. Maybe i'm gonna ask my dad to do it for me.

2. Tried to change Raynairah's blogskin and everything went wrong. Thanks to any of the RFs for recovering the blog.

3. My grandma just got back from her Umrah. She went there without my grandpa with her. She convoyed with her friends.

4. Tiffany and K.Will's duet teaser released. Turns out it's a ballad. No rapping parts. But I love it! Here it is, 'A girl meets love':

Okay, I just got back from Miri. I'm tired but i have to post this.
I mentioned in my last post that there's a rumour saying Fany's gonna have a solo song. Well, it's not a rumour anymore. Fany's OST song, 'By Myself' was released in the preview of SBS TV historical drama 'Ja Myung Go'.

Here's a part of the lyrics that fans found it very touching and soshified had translated it:

I cried while listening to this. Why? As a BIG fan, of course i'm touched that finally she has a solo entitled to her name. And her voice melts me. The fact that it's a ballad song is totally not helping me, Ballad Tune+ Fany's Voice = Liquid Rone (as in i'm melting). It's also very touching just by thinking what this girl has to go through. (you seriously don't want me to talk about it, i'll talk on and on)

Let's talk about my iPhone now. Two nights ago (the time now is already 1.40 am meaning it's already the 26th March, so technically 'two nights ago' is correct), the night before i went to Miri, i had downloaded and installed a new version of iPhone to my iPhone using iTunes. After the process of installation finished, something happened to my iPhone. Everything in my iPhone was sort of locked. The only thing that appeared on the screen was the logo of iTunes, an image of the USB connecting cable of my iPhone and a scroll bar that says 'slide for emergency'.
Then i checked my iPhone with iTunes on my computer, it says that the SIM card is unable to activate my iPhone. I was worried that my iPhone might have been formatted and all the things in my iPhone might have been gone. I slid the scroll bar and a keyboard of numbers appeared. The use of the scroll bar was to enable me to make emergency calls only. But in the background, there was a picture of Fany, my wallpaper. If Fany's picture's still there, it means my iPhone haven't been formatted. That's my theory for now.

I'm gonna get it fixed tomorrow. So for the time being, i'm not gonna reply any of your phone calls or text messages. Sorry.

I know i have posted two times already today but i can't help but to post again. And again, i'm posting a video.

This is the trailer for Holistus, a fanfic. The author's name is Tsuna. It has a different genre than other fanfics, it's a sci-fi. I'm not even sure if it's going to end up with a pairing. It started with YulSic but they broke up and the only pairing the fanfic has now is SooSun (Sooyoung + Sunny).
I'm really hoping for JeNy. This trailer is soooo cool. Aienbest made the trailer. I'm not really sure what a Tracer is but i think it's kinda like Bionic woman. You know, modified human. That's what i'm understood of from the fanfic.

There!! I thought it'll take a longer time but it doesn't (sort of). I guess last night i was just feeling lazy and sleepy. Anyway, please look closely at the second picture at the top, the water tap is floating? hahaha! there's a simple explanation for that but to find it out, you must go to Pines Restaurant a.k.a Restoran Pokok Pain. I think i'm promoting this restaurant. And please try the Pikachu roll, crispy kimbap, chap chae, bibimbap and galbi gui(? i don't know the spelling).

SNSD to teach the 'Gee' dance to Harvard Law School students

Girl group SNSD will be teaching their 'Gee' dance to Ivy League Harvard Law School students.

SNSD will be meeting Harvard Law School students in their SM Entertainment practice room on the coming 26th. Their meeting was requested by Harvard Law School, who will be visiting Korea on the 23rd.

An Harvard Law School official said to Star News during their international phone call, "We have planned to have an event where we learn from SNSD their 'Gee' dance" and "Kim Jaedong will be MC-ing for the show." Law School students will be meeting with government officials and participate in other various activities before starting to explore Korean culture.

It is very unusual that Harvard Law School students are meeting with SNSD. It means that Harvard Law School knew that SNSD was at the top in influencing Korean culture with 'Gee.'

SM Entertainment has had CEO Lee Sooman do lectures about the "Korean Wave" for three years straight to Harvard MBA students, but it is their first time to be affliated with Law School students.

Today, for the first time ever i went to a Korean restaurant. I shared the ride there with Qilah cuz Qilah didn't know where the place is and want me to show her where it is. I don't know where the place is either but Bilah gave me the address. Here's what she texted me: 'Addressnya d gadong sbaris dgn nokia showroom. Its upstairs. Know escapade gadong, blakang building atu.'.

That sounds easy. Well, we did get to reach the nokia showroom but when we were searching which stairs leads to Pines Restaurant, we don't know which cuz there were no board signs of Pines Restaurant at any of the stairs. We stood outside the Nokia showroom like statues.

And then YGP texted me: 'Yo my dad tnya wer is the restaurnt. I duno hw to explain. Cn u describe..? =)'. Actually, YGP had arrived earlier at the Gadong area but she doesn't know where the place is so she went to other places there first.

And this is my reply: 'Mcm bnr kmi maseh thn2 arh nokia showroom ah. Kesini ko eh'

After that Qilah told me to text Bilah and ask her where the restaurant is. And her reply was: 'Tunggu sja kjp..I'm still stuck ni. Traffic jam.'

Then Khalish came walking towards us, we were relieved cuz we know that he knows where the restaurant is. Now, all we have to do is wait for the other three girls, YGP; Bilah and Saffa. Suddenly my handphone rang, it was YGP calling me.
"Mana kan Pines restaurant ane?" she asked me.
"Dapan Jaya Hypermart wah" came my reply.
"Aku disana udah kaliah"
"Ah??" i looked around for her. But i didn't see her anywhere. I think she was at the front of the Jaya Hypermart building while we were at the building in front of the Jaya Hypermart building.

I spotted the 'Lee Clinic' sign board and told her that we were at the building behind it. But she doesn't know where Lee Clinic is. I handed my handphone to Qilah so she could tell YGP where it is. While Qilah was in the middle of having a phone conversation with YGP, a white car passed us by. Khalish pointed to the car and "Tu nah ia". We thought it was YGP, turned out it was Saffa. At least, now we only have to wait for two girls. Then, Bilah arrived. And still no YGP in sight. HAHAHA. 15 minutes passed, finally, YGP arrived.

With Bilah leading the way, we found our way to the Pines Restaurant doorstep. Only by then we know the exact location of the said restaurant. The part where Bilah said it is in the same row as the Nokia showroom is true but at a different building. She should have said Fun Bread Cafe instead of Nokia showroom. And the sign board of the restaurant doesn't say 'Pines Restaurant' but it's in Malay, 'Restoran Pokok Pain'.

When we were just outside of the Pines Restaurant door, Bilah shocked us by saying that it's closed. And we were like "WHAT???"
Then one of the waiters of Pines Restaurant opened the door. The restaurant was not closed. Phew!!

We entered the restaurant and sat ourselves in one of the small rooms(?) with a curtain to cover the front. (i don't know how to describe this).

A waiter came with the menus. We scanned through the menus and it's just hard to choose cuz we wanna try everything. "Drinks first?" the waiter who kinda looked like one of my ex-classmates said. We ordered our drinks first and the waiter left leaving us to choose what we wanna eat.
We were making a lot of noise while discussing the food whe wanna order especially Saffa and I.
I was searching for kimbap in the menu but it was nowhere in it.
So i kept asking Bilah where it is. And Saffa kept saying she wants the Kimchi Bokumbap. While Bilah kept recommending the bibimbap and others. So basically, the word 'bap' just kept repeating.

"Mana Kimbap ah?"
"Aku mau Kimchi bokumbap."
"Kamu mau bibimbap?"
"Mna Kimbap?"
"Kamu mau chap chae? Kamu mau bibimbap?"

We were still deciding which food we wanna order but we rang the bell to call the waiter anyway. We ordered a lot of dishes and most of the names of the dishes has the word 'Kimchi' in it. Everybody knows kimchi is like the signature Korean food.

We had the chance to have Korean style grilled beef, lettuce wraps, Kimchi and ramyun. It was exciting for us K-pop fans or K-freaks like how Bilah would say and Khalish who is only a half K-freak.

Greetings readers of my blog. It is I, Orbanrone, here who is talking.
I made this blog cuz of one reason, So Nyuh Shi Dae. I kept posting articles on Tiffany in the blog that my friends and I own, so, i can't continue posting up stuff on Tiffany ,right? I need to remember today's date, 20th March 2009.

I don't know if you guys noticed this but her whole outfit in this picture kinda has a theme, right? Black and pink.
Black skirt, pink shirt and black hat.

And her bag, a zebra with black and pink stripes. Pink handphone and black-coloured nails.

Tiffany wearing sailor hat is just so cute. She wears a sailor hat in the Gee MV. Sailor hats rule.

I wish i have a better picture of this because of her hand. The picture was taken when her hand was moving. But, the pink shirt is jjang.

I've always loved it when Tiffany and other Korean female artistes wear school uniform.

Look at those eyes. And the nails, i think only the tip of the nails are decorated with glitters and black nail polish.
FYI, Fany is a fan of nail polishes. She constantly changes them.

Look closely at the picture. The girl resting her chin on the girl holding the flower bouquet is Fany. Look at her nails. From her pinky to her middle finger: orange, white and pink. How multicolored can her nails be?

This picture is also an old picture of Tiffany and the other two members of SNSD.
